Who is up For a parade?

After great success in 2022, we are going bigger and better in 2023. Come out and be in the parade and not just watching it go by!

Please join us with your pups at the Oceanside Independence Parade on June 24th. This is the greatest small town parade celebrating our Independence. It starts at 10am at Wisconsin and the Coast Highway and ends at Civic Center Drive. It usually takes around 2 hours. Details and logistics on staging for the parade are below.

Come out and tell Oceanside who wants a dog beach! Let’s have some fun.

STAGING INSTRUCTIONS:

We will stage on Leonard Avenue, Enter from Ditmar Street Only.  See map below.  Be there and ready by 9:30.  Don’t stress, if you miss the start you can join from anywhere along the route.  We have some smaller t-shirts if you want, a banner and signs we need folks to carry, also a sound system.

The weather looks mild, but please be prepared, sunscreen, hat, comfortable shoes, poop bags... you know. We have a veterinarian available for any issues that come up. We will provide water for you and your pup and have a support truck to help in any way and can shuttle you back to the start for your car.
